iZ Technology was founded in 1991 by Barry Henderson for the purpose of developing visionary audio products. In 1994 iZ released it's first proprietary audio product, RADAR, the world ’s first 24-track hard disk based digital audio recorder - designed to replace aging tape - based machines. There are now thousands of RADAR units in use on scoring stages, major live tours and in recording studios worldwide.
